DeafCall Paging System - Equality Act 2010 Compliant
The Equality Act 2010 requires all UK employers to make provision for disabled staff and customers, particularly in the area of Fire Safety.
With one in seven of the population being deaf or hard of hearing, the need for effective fire warning technology is imperative. This is where CST's DeafCall™ pager system comes into its own, providing an easy-to-use, low cost solution that is compatible with most alarms on the market.
When a fire alarm is activated, a message is paged to all users to alert them of the alarm.

Vibrating Pillow Pad
CST has introduced the 'Vibrating Pillow Pad' so you can protect your hard of hearing customers in case of fire, whilst sleeping. The 'Vibrating Pillow Pad' connects to a CST wireless receiver, which is triggered by the CST DeafCall system. The 'Vibrating Pillow Pad' is placed where you can feel it, under your pillow or cushion for a 'silent' alarm call.
CST's DeafCall links with your own fire alarm and in the case of fire transmits a message to the wireless receiver, activating the shaker, which alerts the sleeper.
