Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens, the renowned private Glasgow hotel, is using the Genesis system from Call-Systems Technology
to manage its staff paging and internal communications.
Genesis is a complete PC-based software package that brings together all the hotels communications, including text pagers
and phones into a single easy to use interface, without extra hardware. It allows reception or management to control and monitor
them simultaneously, from the moment the guest rings the wireless doorbell on arrival.
"The system has proved to be quiet, easy to use and reliable," says Stevie White, maintenance manager at the hotel.
"It's compatible with all our messaging, integrating it into one system without additional technology, which makes everything
easier and it logs all the paging so you can see where the bottlenecks in service are. It also has a much better range than
our old fragmented paging system. "
The result: faster and more attentive service, improving the guest's experience, with much more efficient use of staff.
