CST has expanded its Loneworker Solutions with the new CWS 8000 DECT cordless telephone system.

The firm's latest device raises the bar for internal, wireless communications, staff protection and facility monitoring.

According to the firm, communications are a major issue in large venues and getting a simple solution that is both flexible and customisable is of vital importance.

CST has a huge range of handsets that are compatible with the CWS 8000 system and the solution can even incorporate other communications devices - such as pagers, two way radio and mobiles and alarms.

"This creates a comprehensive and totally effective communications solution, with voice, paging, SMS and GSM, that enhances every aspect of an organisation," the company said.

Adding: "By ensuring that all staff are in contact, wherever they are, the CWS 8000 enhances safety, productivity and customer service."

Recently, the Health and Safety Executive said that employers should not be complacent about lone worker safety.
