Environmental and Sustainability Policy Statement
Call Systems Technology Limited, its officers and staff, recognise that as a leading supplier of critical messaging installation and support services, the business must ensure it operates in a manner that adopts the changing environmental and sustainability priorities and legislation requirements.
To achieve this, our activities are organised and managed through an Environmental Management System designed to meet the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 Standard.
The aim of our Environmental Management System is to:
• Fulfil the requirements for ISO 14001:2015.
• Provide a commitment to continual improvement.
• Promote energy efficiency to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
• Reduce the generation of waste materials and air pollutants.
• Increase waste reuse, recycle where possible and reduce waste sent to landfill.
• Ensure our business does all it can to prevent pollution.
• Quantify and monitor all significant environmental impacts on the business.
• Reduce our carbon footprint, primarily through fuel consumption by vehicles and building utilities.
• Continually improve logistics and recycling processes to maximise efficiency.
• Ensure all purchasing requirements are sourced in accordance with environmental best practice and customers are kept informed.
• Work with all suppliers to encourage awareness of best practice regarding environmental issues.
• Educate all employees on the importance of environmental responsibility.
• Carry out all work procedures in accordance with relevant environmental legislation and ensure this is communicated to all employees.
• Ensure best practice techniques are adopted wherever possible to ensure compliance with ISO 14001:2015, legal and other requirements.
• Set targets and objectives to ensure continual performance improvement.
• Review policy, targets, and objectives on an annual basis as part of the Management Review Board.
• Implementation of this policy takes place in conjunction with, where appropriate, our Health, Safety and Welfare Policy (HSW – POL– 100).
