Product Description

Environmentally safe and highly reliable
The PD795Ex is designed to meet the strict requirements of European ATEX and North American FM standards. With certifications for ATEX, IECEX, the latest FM and CSA specifications, the radio works safely in most hazardous environments even with the presence of hydrogen and dust particles. The overall design complies with the latest American Military Standard-(MIL-STD-810G), which means it can stand the harshest environments such as high/low temperatures, high humidity, vibration and shock.

Innovative Construction
Both the radio and the battery are encapsulated to ensure that all internal connections are protected and sealed off from dangerous explosive gases and dust particles. The high-strength LCD is scratch and impact resistant

Improved PCB circuit layout & EMC shielding
To achieve such a high safety standard, the PD795Ex adopts an optimised distributed line design on PCB, reducing the odds of a circuit fault. All the key components on the PCB are covered with shielding and the space between line, between components and between the components and shielding are properly spaced. This ultimately translates to a better EMC performance and less internal interference.

Enhanced Safety
The PD795Ex has a dedicated emergency button. In the case of any accident, one press will trigger an alarm and initiate a voice call to a pre-programmed work fellow or group. Built-in man-down, GPS and lone-worker functions are also available.

High-capacity and intrinsically safe battery
The PD795Ex has a high-capacity 1800mAh battery as standard, with a long shift life of 17 hours on a 5-5-90 duty cycle. The battery charging and discharging circuits are stringently designed to prevent overcharging or discharging causing high heat, which can lead to unstable battery environments. In addition, the battery cells are also encapsulated to redistribute single-point heat buildup and prevent air discharge.

High audio quality and assured communications
Benefiting from the advantages of DMR digital technology, the PD795Ex provides superior audio quality and stable communication performance with 40% less battery consumption when compared with analogue radios. Digital radios provide better communication quality, enhanced privacy and reduce overall equipment costs.

GPS Location
Positioning and tracking as standard, also including man down feature

Fail-safe Design
Batteries or accessories with a lower level of protection automatically trigger an alarm, whilst a patented latch ensures the battery remains securely attached even when knocked or dropped

Priority Interrupt
Send a priority transmission to interrupt other calls, ideal for important, critical messages.

Pseudo Trunking
Using pseudo-trunking, slots can be shared to improve capacity usage with transmissions either direct to handset or to repeater.
