About the Role:
The Operations Administrator provides strong administrative support to ensure smooth office operations, accurate documentation, and effective coordination across teams. This role focuses primarily on administration, client account support, and supporting the Operations team with day-to-day business coordination.
This could be an ideal job for someone fresh out of university with some work experience, but most importantly, who can demonstrate the ability to learn new processes and procedures (AI, new software packages, database/CRM etc). A degree is not required for this role; if not a graduate, we will be looking at experience gained in a similar office environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations Manager and team and wider business
Maintain databases, spreadsheets and details on the CRM system with high accuracy
Generate sales returns, quotes and sales orders, and deal with email orders and enquiries
Make calls to stakeholders, both internal and external (clients, suppliers) to check progress of equipment or parts
Booking in and processing returned equipment, and ensuring credits are processed
Liaising with Sales, Logistics, Production, Warehouse, and Engineers for relevant information to service customer requirements
Review all installation delivery notes to completion, highlighting any further actions required
Gain an understanding of, and provide administrative support for, ISO accreditation and sustainability requirements
Maintain accurate digital/physical filing systems, including version control for key documents
Support onboarding administration (forms, access requests, document packs, checklists)
Ad hoc administrative tasks to assist the Operations Manager as may be required
The right candidate MUST have:
Strong organisational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work to deadline
Professional, proactive, and confidential approach to work
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and preferably, a CRM systems (Sage is a plus)

Living within a reasonable commute of our office in Elstree, Hertfordshire
Salary:
£25,000 - £26,000 annually + 20 days annual leave (rising with service) and Bank Holidays
