Q. What is DeafCall?

The DeafCall Paging System is a wireless communication solution designed to provide instant alerts to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in case of emergencies, such as fire alarms or evacuations.

Q. How does the system work?

When an alarm is triggered, the system automatically sends an alert to the pager. The pager notifies the wearer using vibration, flashing lights and display message. For night-time use, the pillow alarm will vibrate and flash its LEDs, alerting those who are hard-of-hearing or deaf.

Q. Is the system compliant with fire safety regulations?

Yes. DeafCall systems are designed to support compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and British Standards BS5839-1;2025.

Q. Can the system cover multiple buildings?

Yes, depending on the installation, the DeafCall system can be configured to work across large sites, including multi-storey or multi building facilities.

Q. How many pagers can be linked to one system?

There is no strict limit. The system can be scaled to support multiple pagers, depending on the size of the building and number of users.
